Norma M. Seney

1927 - 2014 ADAMS Norma M. Seney, 87, of 42 Meadow St., passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at her home. Born in Adams on May 28, 1927, daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Gravel King, she attended Adams schools. Norma was employed for many years as a clerk for both the former F. W. Woolworth Co. in Adams and the former Millbrook Bread Co. in Adams. For a short period of time, she was employed by the Williams Inn in Williamstown as a housekeeper, after which she became a homemaker. Norma was a communicant of St. John Paul II Parish at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church. She enjoyed needle point. Her husband, Alphonse Seney whom she married on April 15, 1950, died Feb. 10, 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Ann M. Morris and her husband, Anthony, of Adams; a son, Gerald Seney of Pittsfield; a grandson, Gerald Seney Jr. of Adams, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer Seney; by a sister, Jeanette Berry, and by two brothers, Kenneth and Bernard King. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Norma will take place Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. in Notre Dame Church, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor. SBurial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Berkshire VNA and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
