Olga M. Koperek
1929 - 2014 LEE Olga M. Koperek, 84, of 155 Marble St., Brown Memorial Court, died peacefully Saturday, at Berkshire Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born in Lee on July 29, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Elisa Zerbato and was educated in the Lee Schools. She worked for a number of years at the Monument Mills in Housatonic and later at Seven Hills, Cranwell, and Eastover in Lenox She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother Her husband, Harry J. "Tuxie" Koperek, whom she married Sep. 9, 1950, died July 17, 2000. She is survived by her four sons, William J. Koperek and his wife, Dannette, of Mill Creek, Wash., Timothy M. Koperek and his wife, Suzanne, of North Adams, Paul D. Koperek and his wife, Kelly, of Lee, and Jeffrey J. Koperek and his wife, Sharon, of Housatonic; two daughters, Lori A. Koperek and her husband, Bob, and Marlene M. Morris and her husband, Thomas, of Lee; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Evan, Olivia, Celene, Yvonne, Michael, and Sean. She was predeceased by two brothers, Geno Zerbato and Peter Biasin. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Olga Koperek will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Kelly Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Mary's Church, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
