Patricia M. Baugh
1947 2014 ADAMS Mrs. Patricia Marie (Ostrobinski) Baugh, 66, of 56 Alger St., Adams, died on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her home. She was born in Adams on February 28, 1947, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Alibozek) Ostrobinski. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School with the class of 1965. She later went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Early Childhood Education from the former North Adams State College. Mrs. Baugh last worked as a preschool teacher at St. Stanislaus Kostka School until her retirement in 2005. Earlier she had worked for 20 years at Child Care of the Berkshires, Pittsfield. She loved working with the many children over the years. She was a communicant of the Parish of Blessed John Paul, Adams. She was a member of the Blessed John Paul Bible Study Group, the Adams Free Library Book Club, she was a cancer support group member and was also a member of the
. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, camping, antiquing and most of all spending time with her two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Robert E. Baugh, whom she married on February 3, 1968, one son; Jason Baugh and his companion Doddy Bigelow of Adams, one daughter; Alenda Zelazo and her husband Anthony of Adams, two grandchildren; Lukas and Madeline Zelazo of Adams, two brothers; George Ostrobinski and his wife Kim of Savoy and Thomas Ostrobinski and his wife Lisa of Adams, two sisters; Paula Hilchey and her husband Scott of Cheshire and Nancy Kuzia and her husband Kenneth of North Adams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be on Tuesday, February 25, at 9:00AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in the Parish Church of Blessed John Paul, Adams, celebrated by Rev. John Gawienowski. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home.
