Patricia L. Hunter

1942 - 2016 Patricia Louise Hunter, age 74, formerly of 68 Oswald Ave. Pittsfield, died Monday morning at the Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield, Feb. 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Albert M. and Helen E. Miller Haskins. She attended the former Redfield School and South Junior High School and was a 1959 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Employed initially at the General Electric Co., she continued her employment with General Dynamics following the company's purchase of G.E. Ordnance Systems. Amongst the many positions within the company, Patricia wrote equipment and procedure manuals and kept records on supply and maintenance. She retired in 2000. A long time communicant of the former St. Teresa's Church, she was a communicant of St. Mark's Church. As a working mother, she was proud of her 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Scott R. Hunter of Pittsfield, her brother, Albert Haskins of Gulf Breeze, Fl. and her sister, Sharon J. Zepko of Balston Spa., N.Y. Her son, Ronald W. Hunter, died in 1986 and her daughter, Deborah J. Hunter, died in 2013. FUNERAL SERVICE: Hunter, Patricia L., age 74, of Pittsfield, died Monday, April 18th. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 am. at St. Marks Church with the Rev. John C. Salatino, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Joseph's Cemetery .
