Patricia Kelly

1949 - 2015 LENOX Patricia Marie Kelly, 66, died Tuesday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after battling cancer for 5 months. Her loving family surrounded her at the time of death. Born on October 19, 1949 in Brooklyn NY, she was the loving daughter of Andrew H. Quinn and Ruth Jones Quinn. She graduated from Mary Louise Academy in Queens NY. Known as Pat at work, she was the smart, dependable and "go-to girl" in her position as Executive Assistant to the President for many years at what is now TDBank. Patty's life is one to be celebrated. She knew how to have fun. Patty loved to dance and get the celebration started. She enjoyed showing people how much she appreciated them by giving thoughtful presents. She cherished the time spent relaxing by the beach on vacations in Avalon, NJ and Cape Cod. As the only girl of 5 children she was a no nonsense, no drama kind of person who was self-assured and decisive. She loved her family whole heartedly. Patty exemplified strength, generosity and loyalty to family. She was an extraordinary example of how to be genuine and true to yourself with what really mattered in life. Patricia leaves her husband, Paul Kelly, her children, Tricia Kelly McCormack and son-in law, Tom McCormack of Lenox. She leaves her son, Michael Kelly and his girlfriend, Melissa Gen of East Boston. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Andrew and Connor McCormack. Patty leaves three brothers, Andrew Quinn of Laurel Springs, NJ, Brian Quinn of Mineola, NY and Sean Quinn of Hempstead, NY. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Kevin Quinn. She also leaves nieces and nephews and their children who adored their "Aunt Patty" FUNERAL NOTICE: Liturgy of Christian Burial for Patricia will be celebrated with the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, Pastor, on Tuesday, November 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Lenox. Burial will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery in Lenox.
