Patricia W. Schively 1924-2012 Patricia W. Schively, died Monday evening, February 20, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was 87. She was born in 1924, in Pittsfield, to Henry and Agnes Watson, who preceded her in death. In 1959, she married the late Joseph Dukes, the father of her children and in 1981, she married Nicholson R. Schively, who passed away in 1985. Pat graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1942 and attended the Berkshire Business College in Pittsfield, Fenn College and Dyke Spencerian College in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for Canada Dry Bottling in Cleveland, was a volunteer at The Lima Art Association and was active there for 18 years, eventually becoming Executive Director. She also performed volunteer activities with the Ohio Foundation of the Arts as an Exhibition Selection Committee Member and Visual Arts Panel for Grant Review. Pat was a Board Member and Volunteer for Berkshire Historical Society, Toledo Museum of Art, The Ohio Historical Society in the Preservation Office and Anthropology Department and the Allen County Historical Museum. She touched many lives throughout hers and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her three children, John (Sharon) Dukes, Patricia (Brian) Decker and Pamela Dukes; grandchildren, Nick Decker, Helen Scheblo, Sam Decker and Andrew Decker; sister, Robertine Morris; brothers, James Watson ands Joseph Watson; and many other family members. A private funeral service will be held at a later date in Monterey, MA. Arrangements being handled by the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH.
