Obituary Condolences

Patti Jo Dunn Andrews 1955-2012 PITTSFIELD Patti Jo Dunn Andrews, 57, of 29 Marco Drive, Pittsfield, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at her home, following a long illness. Born in North Adams on May 14, 1955, a daughter of Dorothy Olsen Dunn Drake and the late Gene D. Dunn, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and attended Mt. Greylock Regional High School. Mrs. Andrews was a homemaker. In earlier years, she had been a meat cutter at A& P Supermarket, a clerk at K-Mart, sold antiques, and did housecleaning. Mrs. Andrews loved her children and her family, and her English Springer Spaniols. She also enjoyed cooking, crafts, crocheting, canning, and flowers. She leaves her husband, Keith D. Andrews, whom she married October 18, 1974, in Pilgrim Memorial Church. Besides her husband and her mother of Adams, Mrs. Andrews is survived by a daughter, Alison T. Andrews-Patterson and her husband, Michael, of Lansingburgh, N.Y.; a son, Michael K. Andrews of Stephentown, N.Y.; two sisters, Holly Oakley and her husband, Pete, of Lanesborough, and Robbin Tubbs and her husband, Bob, of Pittsfield; and her eight grandchildren, Andy "And", Alex, Aidan, Avery, Austin, Dakota "Kody", Abigail "Doozie", and Paige Hope; as well as her special puppies, Maggie May and Baby. Besides her father, she was pre-deceased by two brothers, Michael Dunn and Gary Dunn, and her stepfather, Edward Drake. Tomorrow When tomorrow starts without me And I'm not there to see If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today While thinking of the many things We didn't get to say. I know how much you love me As much as I love you And each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me Please try to understand That an angel came and called my name And took me by the hand And said my place was ready In heaven far above And that I'd have to leave behind All those I dearly love. But when I walked through heaven's gates I felt so much at home When God looked down and smiled at me From His great golden throne. He said "This is eternity And all I've promised you" Today for life on earth is past But here it starts anew I promise no tomorrow For today will always last And since each day's the same way There's no longing for the past. So when tomorrow starts without me Don't think we're far apart For every time you think of me I'm right here in your heart.
