Pauline Elizabeth Laviolette

1920-2013 PITTSFIELD Pauline Elizabeth Laviolette, 92, of 15 Knox Road, Pittsfield. died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at her home.

Born in Holden, Mass., on August 18, 1920, a daughter of Pierre R. and Agnes Sullivan Grenache, she was a graduate of Commerce High School and the Haniman Hospital School of Nursing, both in Worcester.

Mrs. Laviolette was a homemaker. Prior to her marriage, she had been a registered nurse in Worcester hospitals. She had also, at one time, worked at the Wright Machine Shop in Worcester.

Mrs. Laviolette was a communicant of St. Charles Church and had been a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church. She loved her churches. She also loved being a homemaker.

Her husband, Paul E. Laviolette, Sr., died February 20, 1988.

Mrs. Laviolette is survived by four sons, Paul "Jack" Laviolette, Jr. of Pittsfield, Leo Laviolette of Pittsfield, George Laviolette of Pittsfield, and David Laviolette of Richmond; two daughters, Linda Laviolette of Pittsfield, and Patricia Ann Laviolette of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Pauline E. Laviolette will be held Saturday, March 2, at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m., at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Laviolette may be made to St. Charles Church or to HospiceCare in The Berkshires, both in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
