Rainelle Roswell-McMillan Obituary
Rainelle Roswell-McMillan, 63, of 190 East Quincy St., died Sunday Aug. 10, 2014, at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Adams, on Sept.14, 1950, daughter of Marcell and Rina (Jasinski) Roswell. She attended Adams schools and graduated from the Adams High School with the class of 1969.
Rainelle was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Air Force for four years. She was the first female air traffic controller at the base in Plattsburgh, NY.
Rainelle was last employed by Sprague Electric Co.
She was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Rainelle was an animal lover.
Survivors include one son, Devin McMillan of East Wareham, and one daughter, Victoria Myers of Hutto, Texas; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Cadence, and Ellieana. She also leaves one brother, Ronald Roswell of Adams, and three sisters including Candice Warren of Pittsfield, Rhonda Burdick of Woodford, VT, and Rissa Sawyer of Adams; and nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Robert A. McMillan who died on Aug. 26, 2007. They were married on Jan. 13, 1979. She was also predeceased by a brother, Randolph Roswell.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Rainelle Roswell-McMillan will be held on Sunday Sept. 14, from 1 - 3 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private.
Rainelle's family wants to thank everyone at HospiceCare and Williamstown Commons for their support in her final days.
