Richard David Kornn 1954-2012 ADAMS Mr. Richard David Kornn, 57 of 23 Columbia St. Adams, died Wednesday June 6, 2012 at Williamstown Commons. He was born in North Adams, on October 16, 1954, son of Richard L. and Joyce (Jones) Kornn. He graduated from Drury High School. Richard last worked at American Cab Co. for the past ten years. Before that, he worked at O'Connell's Car Wash for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Adams and was a member of the Mass. National Guard. Richard was a talented artist and was known for his painting, wood-carving, and drawing. He also enjoyed gardening. Survivors include two sisters- Jean Thompson of Williamstown and Bonny Burgoyne of Richmond, Va. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog Tyra. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Richard Kornn will be held on Saturday June 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
