Robert A. Therrien 1946-2011 LEE Robert A. Therrien, 65, of 96 Railroad St. in Lee, died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Pittsfield on August 17, 1946 the son of Lawrence and Mabel Girardey Therrien and was a1964 graduate of Lee High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 until 1969. After the service he began working at the former Peter J. Schweitzer Paper Co. in Lee and retired in 2005 from the then SchweitzerMauduit Paper CO. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church where he was a Eucharist Minister, Christian Doctrine Teacher and Confirmation Coordinator. He was member of Berkshire Hills Council No. 314 K. of C. and of Bishop Conaty Assemble 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics and was a member of the former Red Raiders. He leaves his son Robert Therrien of Lee, two brothers Edward Therrien of Castle Rock, Wash. and Thomas Therrien and his wife Regina of Clarksburg. FUNERAL NOTICE: The Funeral for Robert Therrien of Lee who died Jan 3rd will be held Saturday morning Jan 7th at 10:15 from the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee, with a liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Mary' s Church with the Rev. John K. Sheaffer, pastor, officiating . Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
