Rosa Ines Milesi

1926 - 2014 NORTH ADAMS Mrs. Rosa Ines Caron Milesi, 87, of 252 Walnut St., North Adams, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Sweetbrook Care Center. She was born in Campione sul Garda, Tremosine, Italy, on Sep. 25, 1926, daughter of Ferdinando and Catherina Nicoletti Caron. She attended schools in Italy and came to the United States in 1955. Ines was primarily a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She worked at Wall-Streeter Shoe Co. and Sprague Electric Co. for a time. She also assisted her husband in the operation of the former Bruno's Imports. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Ines enjoyed music, singing, dancing, reading, and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was the widow of Vittor Bruno Milesi, who died on May 25, 1997. They were married on April 19, 1954. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Segala and her husband, David, of North Adams; two grandchildren, Krysten Zocchi and her husband, Daniel, and Joseph Segala, both of North Adams; her great-grandson, Alexander Zocchi of North Adams; her sister-in-law, Rina Caron, and two nephews, Claudio and Bruno Caron and their families. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, Ida, Elena, Ida, Angelo, and Gino. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Funeral Mass for Ines Milesi will be celebrated Friday, April 11, 2014, at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. There are no calling hours.
