1927 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
Sara N. Roulier 1927-2012 Sara N. Roulier, 84, of 18 Enterprise St. Adams, was surrounded by her beloved family as she prepared for her final and most significant journey of her life and ours. She passed into eternity Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home. Born in North Adams on November 9, 1927, daughter of the late Dominic and Stella Giacco Candiloro she attended North Adams Schools and graduated from Drury High School in 1946. After graduation she became employed with the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 42 years, and retired in 1985 as a senior lab technician She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence D. "Peanut" Roulier, who died October 12, 2009. They were married on September 3, 1949 in the former St. Anthony of Padua Church in North Adams, Mrs. Roulier was a communicant of the former Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, bowling, and traveling. Her most favorite things in the world were her family and grandchildren. She leaves two daughters, Joanne M. Roulier of Adams, Nancy C. Wilk and her husband Joseph of Cheshire. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Katie Carey Dumais and her husband Rob, and Andrew and Mary Wilk. She is also survived by her son in law, William Carey, a brother, Theodore Candiloro of Attleboro, MA, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by one daughter, Stella M. Carey, a sister, Victoria Testa, and two brothers, Joseph and Nathan Candiloro. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Sara N. Roulier will take place Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9 AM from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire, celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, Pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams, calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
