1932 - 2013 CHESHIRE Solomon Perry Cole, Jr., 80, of Salem. N.H., formerly of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Stamford, Vt., on Nov. 8, 1932, he was the son of Solomon Perry Cole, Sr. and Helen (Jaeschke) Cole. He attended Stamford, Cheshire and Adams schools and graduated from Lenox Preparatory School in 1951. He received a BS degree in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1955. He had a fascinating career and was on the cutting edge of many processes in the semiconductor industry. He never lost that drive to keep current on technology and science throughout his life. He had varied interests including sailing and boat building in his younger years to researching his genealogy. He enjoyed years of cruises that allowed him to visit numerous ports around the world. He was 50-year veteran of the Free Masons. He is survived by his wife, Ann (Greene) Cole of Salem, N.H.; three daughters, Kim Cole of Salem, N.H., Coral Teza of Encinitas, Calif., and Candace Cole of Portsmouth, N.H.; two grandchildren, Cole Teza and Jacquelyn Candace Teza of Encinitas, Calif.; and a sister, Nancy Landon of Plymouth.
