Dear Olmstead Family--I too remember "Ike" as a happy and friendly student. It saddens me to learn that a former student will no longer bring peace to a community.
RIP Ike,
Fondly, Mr. Chamberland

To the Olmsted Family,
I am sorry to hear about Ike. He was a good guy. A true Egremontian.
As Ernie said I have good memories back to our younger years in Egremont & Sheffield.
Sorry Ike had to die so young.
My sincere sympathy to the whole family.

Dear Olmsted Family: One of our great friends has left us. But he has also left us with good memories. We go back to 1962, 4th grade, when the Egremont kids met up with the Sheffield kids at Sheffield Center. Ike always had a smile, a story to tell, and was a great member of our class of '70. Take comfort in your own memories of being with him, and knowing that his many friends will remember him with a smile. God bless you and your families.
