Steven Bernard "Vinny" Gagne

1963 - 2015 ADAMS Mr. Steven Bernard "Vinny" Gagne, 51 of 24 Liberty St. died Thursday March 19, at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in North Adams, on May 17, 1963, son of Nancy C. (Scarbo) Gagne and the late Bernard H. Gagne. He attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. Vinny was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #108 and was employed by Professional Drywall Construction. He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Vinny enjoyed all sports, especially football and hockey. He was an avid fan of all the Boston professional sports teams. Survivors include his wife, Victoria Jean (Jones) Gagne, whom he married on May 25, 1996; and his mother, Nancy C. (Scarbo) Gagne, of North Adams; two daughters, including Ashley Gagne, and Tiffany Bednarz, both of Adams; and one son, Steven B. Gagne Jr,. of Adams; and five grandchildren, including Christopher, Matthew, Zacharias, Kaleighonna, and Sadie. He also leaves one brother, Bruce M. Gagne, of North Adams; his mother, and father, and father-in-law, Ellen and Paul Jones of Adams; and his brother and sister-in-law, Sherri and Peter Michalenko of Savoy, Mass.; and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday March 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery.
