Thelma Frenier O'Neil 1914-2012 WILLIAMSTOWN Thelma (Frenier) O'Neil, 97, of 76 Mooreland St., Williamstown, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the North Adams Regional Hospital. She was born in Pownal, Vt., on March 9, 1914 a daughter of the late William and Odna (Hamel) Frenier. She moved to Williamstown as a young child and graduated from Williamstown High School with the class of 1932. Mrs. O'Neil was employed at the former Williamstown National bank on Spring St. until joining her husband in the operations of Ken's Market on Spring St. until their retirement in October of 1976. Mrs. O'Neil was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick's Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She also was a member of the Williamstown Friendship Club and the Williamstown American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Her husband, Kenneth J. O'Neil, whom she married October 12, 1946 died May 30, 2006. Survivors include her son, Stephen K. O'Neil and his wife, Nancy, of Raymond, N.H.; two grandchildren, Katie C. O'Neil of East Greenwich, R.I. and Thomas K. O'Neil of Derry, N.H.; two nieces and one nephew, Nancy Moore Gehman, Shirley Boice and Frederick E. Moore; and several cousins and grand-nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Sts. Patrick & Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling Hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI- MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. are Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial Donations are suggested for the St. Patrick Food Pantry and the Village Ambulance through the funeral home.
