Theresa F. Curley Obituary
Theresa F. Curley, 89, passed away at The Landings at Laurel Lake in Lee, on May 14th after a short illness. She was a resident of Naples FL, and Lenox.

Theresa was born in Pittsfield, MA, the daughter of Edward A. Burke and Frances E. (Kirby) Burke and spent the first 59 years of her life as a resident of Lenox. She graduated from Lenox High School in 1946 and went to work for Electric Supply and Repair on Eagle St. in Pittsfield.

Theresa married William J. Curley of Lee in June of 1951 at St. Ann's Church in Lenox and remained married for 62 years until the time of William's passing in 2013.

From 1967 to 1987 Mrs. Curley worked as the principal's secretary at Lenox Memorial High School. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and The Massachusetts Retired State County and Municipal Employees Association. A life-long avid reader, Theresa volunteered at the Glades Country Club Library and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word games.

Upon retirement in 1987 the Curley's moved to Naples, Florida and became permanent residents there in 1994.

Theresa leaves three sons, Bruce of Englewood, FL, Edward of East Greenbush, NY, and Stephen of Lenox, and one granddaughter, Lisa Curley of Lenox Dale, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary K. Bastow of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Theresa F. Curley will be held, Saturday, May 19, 2018, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church, in Lenox, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. John J. Bonzagni, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox, from 8:45am-9:45am, prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA, which is handling arrangements.
