Thomas A. Hafner

1954-2012 Mr. Thomas Aaron Hafner, 58, of Windsor, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in North Adams on July 1, 1954, a son of Helen (Corsi) Hafner and the late Jason Hafner. He attended North Adams schools, and graduated from Drury High School with the Class of 1972.

At the time of his passing, Mr. Hafner was working as a route salesman for Hostess Brands in Pittsfield, and had spent a total of 30 years working in the baking industry, also working at the former Nissen Baking Co. and Wonder Bread.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, and NASCAR racing.

Besides his mother, Helen Hafner, of Adams; he is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Jacqueline J. Richards, whom he married on September 20, 1975; a brother, Richard Hafner and his wife, Lori, of Auburn, Maine; his mother-in-law, Ophie Richards, of Adams; two brothers-in-law, John Richards and his wife, Barbara, of Williamstown; and David Richards and his wife, Frances, of Adams; as well as two nieces, four nephews and two grandnieces.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20th, at 11 a.m. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the service, at the funeral home.
