Timothy "Tim" Carey Meunier

1983-2012 PITTSFIELD Timothy "Tim" Carey Meunier, 28, of South Street Apartments, Pittsfield, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at his home.

Born in Pittsfield, on December 29, 1983, a beloved son of Peter A. and Betsy Holmes Meunier of Hinsdale, he was a graduate of St. Agnes School and a 2002 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School.

A carpenter by trade, Mr. Meunier was first employed by Northern Building Systems in Dalton and later by Martin's General Contracting in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Meunier was a communicant of St. Agnes Church where he videotaped the Masses.

He had a great love for animals and was a volunteer at the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter. In his youth, he had been a member of the Boy Scouts of America.

He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, photography, and cooking, and had a special love for Christmas.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his beloved brother, Joshua B. Meunier, of Pittsfield, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Timothy "Tim" Carey Meunier will be held Monday, September 10, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Agnes Church celebrated by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow in Maple Street Cemetery in Hinsdale. Calling hours will be held Sunday, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Meunier may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter or to St. Agnes Church, both in care of the Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
