Valerie Rodriguez

1945 - 2014 NORTHADAMS Valerie Lois (Bullett) Rodriguez, 68 of 341 Walnut St., died Monday, June 30, 2014, at her home. She was born in North Adams on Nov. 30, 1945, daughter of Russell and Lucille (Riel) Bullett. She attended local schools, including the Drury High School. Valerie was last employed by North Adams Regional Hospital for about 10 years until her retirement. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was the widow of Mario A. Rodriguez who died on Feb. 11, 2010. They were married on Feb. 29, 1964. Survivors include one son, Antonio Rodriguez and his wife, Christine of Adams; one daughter, Aimee Raifstanger and her husband, Kristopher of Sandisfield; five grandchildren, including Samantha Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, Keegan Dargie, Mercedes Raifstanger, and Kasen Raifstanger; one brother, Russell Bullett of Williamstown, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Dargie, and by her sister, Michele Benoit. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Valerie Rodriguez are private.
