1962 - 2016 ADAMS Vickey Boucher, 53, of 37 Bellevue Ave., passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Berkshire Medical Center Satellite Emergency Facility in North Adams. Born in Adams on June 9, 1962, daughter of the late Walter and Grace Lee Martin she attended Adams schools and graduated from HoosacValley High School in 1980. She also attended the former North Adams State College and the University of Massachusetts. Vickey was first employed for the Adams Youth Center for several years, and then for the children's center at the YMCA in Pittsfield until she attended the Charles H. McCann Vocational Technical High School in North Adams where she became a surgical technician. She then became employed with Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield until she retired in 1999 due to her health. She was an avid Red Sox, New England Patriots fan, and had a great love for animals. She is survived by her husband, Mark C. Boucher, whom she married on June 15, 1984. Two sisters, Hiedi E Boucher of Fountain Inn, S.C., Tammy Samson and her husband, John of Adams, three sister-in-laws, Laurie Ann Briggs of Florida, MA, Serena Cimini of Pittsfield, Denise Meranti, a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Boucher, both of North Adams, nieces and nephews, and two great-nieces. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Steven L. Boucher of Fountain Inn, S.C. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Vickey Boucher will take place Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 12 PM from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA. 01220. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday 4 to 7p.m. Donations in her memory can be made to the or Canine Companions for Independence in care of the funeral home.
