Victoria T. Marsden

1923 - 2016 LEE Victoria T. Marsden, 92, of Lana Ave. died Thursday, Jan 7th at her home. She was born in Lee on February 1, 1923, the daughter of Michael and Marguerite Feltre Zerbato and was educated in the Lee Schools. Victoria was a loving and loyal wife, mother and friend. She also enjoyed cooking, golfing and playing cards with "The Girls". She worked in the plastics division of the General Electric, where she met the love of her life George, as well as several life-long friends. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and former member of the Greenock Country Club. She enjoyed socializing with people which was one reason she worked at Ben's Clothing Store in Lee for many years. Her husband George E. Marsden, whom she married May 18, 1946, died February 13, 1999. She leaves her son, Robert S. Marsden and his wife Jorja of Stockbridge; her daughter, Ann Marie John and her husband, Paul of Greenfield Center, NY; her brother, Michael V. Zerbato of Lee; two sisters, Perina L. Buffoni of Lee, and Juliette Zerbato of Pittsfield; and her grandson, Christopher Marsden. In addition, Mrs. Marsden also leaves several nieces and nephews, and her caregiver, Rosina. She was predeceased by two nephews, Jeffrey Zerbato and James O'Keefe. SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at a later date to be announced. There will be no visiting hours.
