1924 - 2015 ADAMS Mrs. Virginia G. (Niles) Deyle, 90, formerly of 5 East Walnut St., died Monday afternoon, April 6, 2015, at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Adams on December 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Elgin and Minnie (Burr) Niles. She attended Adams schools, and graduated from the former Adams High School with the Class of 1943. Mrs. Deyle last worked as an office clerk for the former Gallup Dickey Insurance Agency in North Adams for many years, until retiring. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Adams, where she served on many committees. She enjoyed playing cards and Scrabble with her friends. Her husband, Roy E. Deyle, Jr., whom she married on September 15, 1945, died on July 2, 1993. She is survived by two sons, Bruce Deyle and his wife, Cheryl, of Littleton, MA and David Deyle and his wife, Gail, of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Lydia Deyle of Littleton, MA and Molly Deyle of Westborough, MA; A great-grandson, Adan Emmanuel Corona-Deyle of Littleton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia's family would like to thank her childhood friend, Margaret Dilk; Margaret's brother-in-law, Thomas Prokopowicz; The Rev. Michael Mullany and his wife, DJ; as well as the staff of Williamstown Commons and HospiceCare in the Berkshires, all of whom were a great help and comfort to Virginia and her family throughout her illness. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The Rev. Michael Mullany, Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Adams, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Friday from 12 Noon until the service, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church, 42 Park St. Adams, MA 01220; The Adams Ambulance Service, 185 Columbia St. Adams, MA 01220; or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, 877 South St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
