Vivian V. Dale

1915 - 2012 NORTH ADAMS Vivian V. (Rondeau) Dale, 97, formerly of 1 Oak Lane, Adams, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 6, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in North Adams on April 16, 1915, daughter of Albert and Eudocha (Holland) Rondeau, and attended North Adams schools. Mrs.Dale worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for over 30 years until her retirement.

She was a communicant of the Parish of Blessed John Paul the Great, Adams. She was a member of the Jollee Circle and the Sprague Electric Retiree's Club.

Her husband, Clifford J. Dale, whom she married on Feb. 8, 1936, died on May 21, 1995. The last of her immediate family, she is survived by her sisters-in-law, Rose Rondeau, who was also her care giver, and Barabara Rondeau, both of North Adams; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her three brothers, Albert, Nelson and Andrew Rondeau; and by her three sisters, Eudocha "Dolly" Richard, Jean Purdy and Lillian Wiles.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 9:30 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Parish Church of Blessed John Paul, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9 until 9:30 at the funeral home.
