Waltraud Perry "Drudy" 1936-2012 LEE Waltraud "Drudy" Perry, 75, of George Street in Lee, passed away on January 26th at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington. She was born in Plankstadt, Germany on May 13, 1936, the daughter of Ludwig and MariaSturm and was educated in schools in Germany. After her marriage to Don N. Perry in 1958, who was serving with the US Army in Germany, they moved to the Berkshire area and to Lee in the early1960's. Her husband predeceased her on November 4, 2011. Drudy's survivors include her three sons, three daughters, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Donald J. Perry and his wife Allyson of Vernon, Conn., their children David and Samantha; Mark L. Perry and his wife Cathy of Pittsfield and their children, Tyler, Connor, Danielle and Mitchell and his wife Alyson, along with their daughters, Julia and Kimberly; Scott S.J. Perry of Lee and his children, Brett, Zachary and Jordan; Angelika Benjamin and her husband Howard of Germany and their children, Lisa, Kai Schellmann and his wife Barbara along with their sons, Nico and Joshua; Miriam Mayer and her husband Claus along with their children Bennet and Livia; Debbie Perry of Lee and her daughter Roberta Boldyga; Susan Perry of Byron, CA; and three brothers, Hans, Gerd and Dietmar Sturm of Germany. She was predeceased by her brothers, Karl and Eugen Sturm, and her sisters; Else Feuerstein and Annemarie Gaertner. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Drudy Perry will be held on Tuesday, January 31stat 11 a.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. John K. Sheaffer,pastor of St. Mary's Church in Lee officiating. Burial will follow inSt. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. A visiting hour will take placefrom 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Drudy's memory to the Alzheimer's Assosiation or the , in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
