Ward C. Warren

1941 - 2014 DALTON Ward C. Warren, 72, of Longwood, Fla., died Aug. 15, following a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on December 5, 1941, in Pittsfield, he was the son of the late Esther (Vickery) and Clarence Warren. Mr. Warren graduated from Dalton High School and was employed by Crane & Co. of Dalton, for 45 years. Upon his retirement in 2005, Mr. Warren relocated from Dalton to The Villages, Fla., and later to Longwood, Fla. Mr. Warren was predeceased by his wife, Nancy L. Gero, who died on Sept. 12, 2003; and his son, Michael W. Warren, who died on Feb. 20, 2013. He is survived by his daughter Sheryl Coles, of Longwood, Fla; his daughter, Terri Cancelarich and son-in-law, John Cancelarich of Melrose, Mass.; his son, Derek Warren and daughter-in-law Holly Warren, of Pittsfield; his sister, Barbara Gerdes of Pittsfield; his beloved grandsons, Raymond Coles, Nicholas Coles, and James Cancelarich; and his cherished granddaughters, Diana Coles, Raeayn Warren, and Lillian Cancelarich. FUNERAL NOTICE: Mr. Warren's family will receive friends at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main Street, Dalton, on Monday, Sept. 15 from 4 - 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
