William Michael Ciuk

1956 - 2014 ADAMS William Michael "Bones" Ciuk, 57, of Adams, passed away early Sunday morning, June 1, 2014, after a long illness. He was born in Adams on July 16, 1956, a son of the late Michael Ciuk and Helen Bard Krok, and attended Adams schools. As a young boy, he was a fixture at the former Tate's Cycle Garage, owned by Ray Tetreault, who thought of Bill as a younger brother. Through Ray, bill fell in love with Norton motorcycles and riding became one of his favorite pastimes, along with hiking, bicycling, four-wheeling and gardening. Bill worked for several area companies installing drywall, painting, and associated work. He is survived by his sisters, Fran Ciuk and Missy Krok, both of Adams; his bothers, Timothy and Jeffrey Ciuk, both of Adams, and Richard Bombardier of North Adams; his caregiver, Dawn Manke, with whom he resided; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Chester Krok Jr., Robert Bombardier, and Ronald Bombardier. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services and burial will be private for his family. There are no calling hours.
