I was shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Cathy. I knew her for many years and considered her a good friend. We may not have seen each other on a regular basis, but when we did it was as if time had not passed. My heart bleeds a tear for Cathy-Jo on this sad day.

Cathy and I were good friends in high school and then we lost touch. I was lucky to find her and have one final chat thanks to Facebook a few months ago. She was a great person and I am sure will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May they find rest and peace during this difficult time. Cathy, you were one of my oldest friends. I still remember the fun we had together growing up. The summer afternoons at your mom’s house playing scrabble and terrorizing the neighborhood. I was so excited to finally reconnect with you back in November. My most sincere condolences to all of Cathy’s family and friends.

Aunt Cathy-Jo~ not only were you my Aunt, you were my older sister, friend, mom and protector. You taught me more about life than anyone else. You believed in me & wanted nothing other than me to be happy & successful in life. I did it Aunt Cath! And you played a HUGE role in it! I have & will always keep you in my heart & remember your words of wisdom & know that you will still kick my butt if I don't continue doing what you knew I could and can do. Thank you for all that you are to me & may you rest in peace. I love you Aunt Cath!

Thank you all for you kind and wonderful words about my Aunt. She would be so touched by all the comments from everyone that touched her life. Not only that, she touched so many lives during her time here and I hope she realizes how many people loved her!

The things you taught me will never be forgotten or replaced. I owe my love of music, art and writing to you.

You were always there for us growing up, whether it was teaching me a lesson or giving me a hug, the end result was always the same. Love and affection.

You'll always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for all the enlightenment through the years, it was entirely too soon for such a radical, caring individual.

I love you Aunt Cath...

Cathy Jo and I played together as children. Our sisters were best friends. I had not seen her since my family moved away in 1976. What I remember of her was her laugh and gentle attitude. God bless her and those that loved her.
