Albina "Bina" Casassa

1917-2014 Mrs. Albina "Bina" Casassa 96, formerly of 193 Elberon Ave. Pittsfield, and many years made her home at 225 Benedict Road in Pittsfield died Friday, February 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. She was born in Island Pond, Vermont on November 6, 1917 a daughter of the late Joseph and Helene (Bulger) Duguay and attended schools in Island Pond and Gilman Vermont. She moved to Pittsfield in 1935, and was a homemaker and she enjoyed golfing, bowling and enjoyed going to eat in several restaurants in the Pittsfield area. She was the widow of Angelo Casassa who died on March 11, 1980 and they were married on May 14, 1938. She was a former communicant of St. Mary the Morning Star Parish. She was predeceased by four Brothers and eight Sisters. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Private Graveside Services will take place Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Joseph's Cemetery with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker C.S.S. officiating.
