Robert C. "Spike" Louison

1931-2014 STOCKBRIDGE Robert "Spike" Louison, 82 of 22 Castle Hill Road, Stockbridge, died Wednesday March 19 at home. He was born in Great Barrington on August 8, 1931 son of Arsene and Elizabeth Cleary Louison. He attended local schools. Robert proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army stationed in Japan. He worked for the J. Donovan and Son in Stockbridge as a Plant Foreman. Robert was a communicant of Blessed Teresa Church, Corpus Christi Parish. He leaves his wife the former Katherine "Katy" Markham, whom he married on May 7, 1953 in Atlanta Georgia, two sons, James and his wife Eliane of Framingham Mass., and Thomas and his wife Beatrice of Paris, France, one daughter, Roberta Townsend and her husband Philip "Buzz", of Lee, one brother, Richard "Rit" of Housatonic, two sisters, Elaine Shea, of Springfield, and Mary Edmundson of Vero Beach, Fla., five grandchildren, Bryan, Rebecca, Zachary, Samuel and Jarod. Robert was predeceased by a brother John. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Robert "Spike" Louison who died March 19th will be held at a later date. In keeping with Robert's wishes there are no calling hours.
