Deanna W. Curtin

1940-2014 Deanna W. Curtin, 73, of Main Road in Tyringham, died Monday morning at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Pittsfield, on November 5, 1940, the daughter of Alexander and Margaret Deans Williamson. She attended the former Williams High School in Stockbridge. On October 3, 1958 she married her husband of 55 years Peter L. Curtin. Mrs. Curtin drove a School Bus for thirty three years. She loved the school children very much and she was known to them as "Grammy D". She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Morning Star Chapter #217. She enjoyed her many trips to Scotland to see her family and the many cruises she went on with her husband. She loved her family very much and will be sadly missed by her husband and family as she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Besides her husband, Peter of Tyringham, she is survived by her three sons; Peter Curtin Jr. and his wife Missy of Stockbridge, Jamie Curtin and his wife Trish of Pittsfield and Matthew Curtin and his companion Joni of Tyringham. She leaves her sister Maggie Curtin, with whom she was very close to, and her husband Tommy of Tyringham; Two brothers Alex Williamson and his wife Margaret of Richmond and Charlie Williamson and his wife June of Gt. Barrington. She was especially fond of her Grandchildren; Joshua and his wife Eden of Tyringham, Ethan and Collin of Stockbridge, Dillon of Tyringham, Devin of Lee, Nissa and Asia of Lee. She was predeceased by her Mother and Father and a brother David. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will be on Friday morning at 10:00 at the Union Church in Tyringham with the Rev. Janet McKinstry, Pastor, officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 4-7 at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
