Murray R. Kellogg

1944-2014 ADAMS Mr. Murray R. Kellogg, age 69, of 17 Pleasant St. Apt. 404, Adams, died Thursday evening at the Berkshire Medical Center after an illness. He was born in Pittsfield, May 26, 1944, the son of the late Richard M. and Pauline Pizzuto Kellogg. He attended the local schools and was a 1962 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Involved in Sales and Management his entire career, he owned and operated the former KimKel Village Store, an art supplies, clothing and framing store on North St. for many years. While there, he provided art supplies, became friends with Norman Rockwell and later attended his classes. He was also a member of the Art Students League of N.Y. He is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly A. Stewart of Deatsville, Ala., and Jamee W. Mionie of Cumming, Ga., his sister, Patricia A. Arseaneau of Pittsfield and his brother, Dominic J. Kellogg of Pittsfield, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: Kellogg, Murray R., age 69. There are no calling hours. Private Graveside services will take place in the family lot in St. Joseph's Cemetery on Wednesday. The Devanny-Condron Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
