Helen E. Glaeser

1924 - 2014 HINSDALE Helen E. Glaeser, 89, of Maple Street, passed away June 13, 2014 at her home. She was born in Peru on July 6, 1924, to William and Helen Edwards Cullett and attended Dalton High School. In her younger years, Helen enjoyed going to local dances with her husband and friends. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing cards and doing word puzzles. She and her husband of 64 years, William E. Glaeser, whom she married on June 25, 1949, spent most of their summer days at their favorite place on earth, their camp in Vermont. She lost her beloved William on May 5, 2013. Helen leaves her best friend, Jean Biggart, and multiple generations of nieces and nephews who loved her like a mother and grandmother. Her sisters and brothers, Dorothea Wells, Kathleen Lawson, Virginia Parham, William Cullett and Paul Cullett predeceased her. FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Mrs. Helen E. Glaeser will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Street Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hinsdale Ambulance Fund in care of the BARTLETT WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226, which is in charge of the arrangements.
