Marion Lily Rippeon

1936-2014 HINSDALE Marion Lily Rippeon, 78, of Hinsdale, passed away Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born in Pittsfield on June 25, 1936 the daughter of Franklin and Lillian M. Watkins. She was a 1954 graduate of Pittsfield High School. For over 30 years she was employed at Berkshire Clean Way retiring in 1999, following her retirement she was employed for seven years at Walmart at the customer service desk. Marion enjoyed spending time and vacations with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Foxwoods; she was always the first one packed and ready to go. Marion leaves her mother, Lillian M. Watkins of Hinsdale; son, Brian Rippeon of Hinsdale; daughters, Jill Tetreault and her husband Robert of Hinsdale, and Wendy Daniels of Hinsdale; grandchildren, Jason and his girlfriend Julie, Sara, Jeremy, Melissa, and Amber; and three great grandchildren, Isaac, Hayleigh, Antonio, Audrey, and one more on the way. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey R. Rippeon who passed away October 23, 1983. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Maple Street Cemetery in Hinsdale, with the Rev. Charles Young, Chaplain for HospiceCare in the Berkshires, officiating. All are welcome to attend. There will be no calling hours. Marion's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of HospiceCare in the Berkshires, and especially Patricia and Stan and Ann at O'Laughlin's Pharmacy in Dalton.
