Connor F. Graham
1993 - 2014 LENOX Connor F. Graham, 21, of 124 Holmes Road, died in a tragic accident on Aug. 2, 2014. He was born in Pittsfield on June 29, 1993, the son of Tim and Robyn Fillmore Graham. He attended local Catholic schools before graduating with honors from Pittsfield High School in 2011. He would have been a senior at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst this fall. Connor played lacrosse in the CYC Youth League and became an all-star player for the Varsity team at Pittsfield High School. He also spent many weekends competing in the regional motocross circuit where he accumulated a roomful of trophies and even more friends. He was an accomplished alpine ski racer, competing in the local Tri-State Racing Program where he qualified for Future Stars and Junior Olympic competitions. While skiing for St Joseph and PHS, he earned the honor of competing in the State MIAA Alpine Skiing Championships for four years. At home, Connor was loved by many and enjoyed spending time with his friends playing the latest video game, or sitting back for movie marathons. One of his true passions was for cars, where he would invest countless hours researching, buying and selling, as well as modifying them to his preferences. To everyone who knew him from all facets of his short life, he will be missed, but he leaves a smile that won't be forgotten. Besides his parents, Tim and Robyn, he is survived by his brother and best friend, Sean Graham of Lenox; his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Graham, formerly of Pittsfield, who now resides in Lenox; five uncles, John Graham and his wife, Karen of Dalton, Michael Graham and his wife, Bethany of Charlotte, N.C., Larry Fillmore of Lisbon, Maine, Terry Fillmore of Hudson, N.H., and Mark Fillmore and his wife Andra of Freeport, Maine, and his aunt, Linda Cleaves of Lisbon, and his many loving cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Connor Graham, 21, will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Pittsfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. James Joyce, pastor. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Lenox. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Connor may be made to Hope Church to benefit a close friend, 259 Kemble Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
