Mickey, T, Colleen, and Mrs. Mahoney,

I cannot find the words to express my sorrow over the passing of Mr.Mahoney. He was a huge fixture at St. Joe basketball games, always with nice words to say after the game. I remember him, and you all, every time I look at the Norman Rockwell painting for which he posed.

Mickey, Colleen, T, Kelly and Mrs. Mahoney,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Mahoney. I have great memories of him. He had such a sharp wit that he was busting my chops for a year before I realized it. He made my life -- and the lives of many St. Joe jocks in the 1970s -- better. I'll say a prayer for him today. What a great guy.

Poppa-poopa:
Our little house is just filled now
with memories of you...
Coaxing you in w/the bribe of a
coca cola. Getting you and keeping
you in with the taste of ice-cream.
Walking you out to the car, so
that you could go home to Lucko
and settle in with Mom.
Those days we will all remember...
Nick, Kel, Bridey, Nicholas, Kelly Rose
& Zack. (Kaley too, as always!)

To The Mahoney family,
I am saddened to hear about the passing of Mr Mahoney. He was a gentle giant of a man who was always smiling and there to put his arm around you if there was a problem. When i was a batboy and ballboy at St Joes, he was always at the games as a proud father and fan. His presence will be missed but i will always cherish the moments and talks we had over the years. God bless him and your family

Joanie,
My deapest sympathies to you and your family. Mo was a great guy and an incredible athlete. I remember meeting legendary Penn State football coach-Joe Paterno, several years ago and mentioning Mo. He stated that unequivicaly, he was the greatest athlete he had ever seen! Quite a statement from someone who has seen his fair share of great athletes. He was also a great gentleman.
