Carol Spencer Daniels 1941 - 2012 PITTSFELD Miss Carol Spencer Daniels of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully at Berkshire Medical Center on May 1, 2012. Carol was born December 4, 1941 in Adams, to Arthur B. Daniels II and Elizabeth Kennard Daniels. She was graced with the beauty of all new born babies and the added joy of a sweet and gentle disposition. It was several years later that she was diagnosed with mental retardation; and this fact sadly robbed the world of all she could have become. Always a sweet and gentle soul, Carol was quick to smile and laugh and possessed an inability for anger or hatred. While the world is less for not having known our sister, those who did know her learned invaluable lessons during her life. We learned patience, the importance of protecting those who cannot protect themselves, the simple joy of unconditional love and how wonderfully freeing it is to simply be silly. Hopefully, those of us whose lives Carol touched became more because she was here. We were blessed to have her and we let her go now, knowing that she always was, and truly is now, God's child. Carol is survived by her three adoring sisters, Joan Daniels Dennis, Elizabeth Daniels George and Virginia Daniels. She leaves behind a loving family of staff and friends from Berkshire Service Group at Valentine Road. Funeral arrangements are through Paciorek Funeral Home at 13 Hoosac Street in Adams, Massachusetts 01220. Carol will be buried in a private, family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol Daniels' memory to Berkshire County ARC, 395 South Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 01201 through the funeral home.
