Henry C. "Bud" Moreau Jr.

1951-2012 NORTH ADAMS Henry C. "Bud" Moreau Jr. 61 of 38 Murrary Ave. North Adams, died Tuesday October 9, 2012 at North Adams Regional Hospital.

He was born in North Adams, on February 27, 1951 a son of Patricia A. (Blanchard) Girard and the late Henry C. Moreau Sr. He attended schools in North Adams. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He was employed for several years at the General Electric Co. in Pittsfield and was last employed as a self employed contractor. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends and gardening. He was a lover of animals.

Survivors include his mother Patricia Girard of North Adams and his stepfather John Girard. Three children Robert Moreau and his wife Julia, Marc Moreau and Haley Moreau all of North Adams. Two grandchildren Dominic Moreau and Aubrey Floriani. His former wife Lynn Swanson of Adams and his longtime companion Kathy Maxwell of North Adams. Three Sisters: Barbara Ayotte and her husband Tom of Cheshire. Susan Duquette of Florida, Mass. and Renee Choquette of Vernon, Conn. Three stepsisters Diane Collins and her husband Brian of North Adams, Jeanne Harvey and her husband Larry of North Adams and Toni Hean and her husband Trey of Southampton, Mass.

He was predeceased by two stepsisters: Sue Bourdon and Jeannette Girard.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will take place Monday at 5 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoili-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Monday from 3 to 5 p.m.
