Patricia A. McDevitt
1930 - 2012 WILLOUGHBY, OHIO Patricia A. (Dunn) McDevitt died on Nov. 9, 2012 at Fairmont Health Center in Willoughby.
Pat was born in Orange, NJ and graduated from Boston University where she was in Pi Theta Delta Sorority. She was a active member of Christ Child Society of Cleveland. She loved to knit, sew, cook and play golf. She also loved to travel and to cruise and her favorite place to travel was Ireland. She was a jovial, happy person who loved her family and was a great wife and mom.
She was employed as adminstrative assistant for the City of South Euclid.
Survivors are her husband of 62 years, John "Jack" McDevitt; son, John R. (wife Sarah) of Houston, Texas; daughters, Margaret of Willoughby and Cathleen McDevitt (partner, Sandra) of Manchester, England; sisters, Grace Marie Dell Angelo (husband Robert, MD, of Pound Ridge, NY, aunt and great-aunt.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leo E. and Henrietta (Sears) Dunn.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at 10 AM, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, Ohio conducted by the Rev. Michael Troha. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory, Inurnment at All Souls Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, 4-8 pm at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road & Rt. 91).
Family suggests contributions may be made in Pat's memory to Christ Child Society of Cleveland c/o Parmadale 6753 State Rd, Parma, OH 44134.
