1932-2012 WILLIAMSTOWN Mrs. Bertha A. Arellano Luscier, 80 of 1254 North Hoosac Rd. Williamstown, died Tuesday November 13, 2012 at North Adams Regional Hospital.
She was born in Dixon, New Mexico on July 4, 1932, daughter of Delfino and Beatrice (Martinez) Arellano. She attended schools Albuquerque.
Bertha married her husband, Gerald Luscier on March 8, 1952 in New Mexico and then settled in the Berkshires in 1955. She worked at Sprague Electric Co. until 1978. Bertha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Luscier of Williamstown. Three daughters; Vita Anderson of Portola, Calif.; Charlene Pepperman of Williamstown; and Theresa Belini and her husband, Richard of North Adams. Two sons- Lee Luscier and his wife, Barbara of Sammamish, Wash., Michael Luscier of Round Rock, Texas, Nine Grandchildren and Two great grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters Lorraine Sanchez, Shirley Archuleta, and Anita Sanchez; two brothers; Tine Arellano and Del Arellano, all of New Mexico; and nieces and nephews.
A brother, Gerson Arellano is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Bertha Luscier are private. Burial will be in Eastlawn cemetery. There are no calling hours.
