PITTSFIELD Donald "Don" Joseph Chiorgno, 74, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Born January 21, 1938 in Pittsfield, Mass., son of the late Mario and Rose Montleone Chiorgno. He attended Pittsfield High School and was employed by General Electric in Pittsfield before retiring to Naples, Fla. He enjoyed gourmet cooking and was an avid N.Y. Giants and Boston Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine "Kate" Cote Peaslee Chiorgno and his daughter Michelle Foster (Dan); step-daughter Donna Peaslee, step-son Kevin Peaslee; and his two sisters JoAnne Haddad (George) and Marcia Fabino (Jim), and two brothers-in-law Joseph Cote (Tina) and Frank Cote (Deb). He also leaves behind three grandsons Lucas, Nicholas, and Cameron; three step-grandsons Randy, Joey, and Christian; a step-great-granddaughter Lily; nephew Mark and niece Alisa. He also leaves behind his best friend, Doug Peaslee, and his beloved dog K.D.
He was predeceased by his step-daughter Kelly Peaslee.
