1948-2012 PITTSFIELD Dolores A. (Zuena) Klopfenstein, of Pittsfield, passed away in the early hours on the morning of Sunday, November 25, in her home after a long battle with cancer. She was known lovingly as Tia by friends and family. When she passed, she was at peace and surrounded by loved ones.
She leaves behind her husband, Bronson; her three sons, Dennis, Anthony, and Jorge Gomez; and her step-son, Jon, as well as multiple grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Dolores was born in Providence, R.I. on April 13, 1948 to Salvatore and Loretta Zuena. She spent the majority of her life in Rhode Island, but once she moved to the Berkshires in 2001, she knew she never wanted to leave the area.
She was known for her kind and generous heart, and her wonderful sense of humor. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and traveling and had a special place in her heart for animals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace with the Lord.
