A native and lifelong resident of Great Barrington, he was born July 16, 1972, son of Harold and Doris Haraburda Shaw. He attended Monument Mountain Regional High School. Todd worked with his family on their dairy farm, The Shaw Farm, until 2005 when his father retired. He then went to work for Dodge Construction Co., J.S. Rae Construction Co. He especially enjoyed working outdoors with any type of large equipment and his favorite tractor, a 6400 John Deere.
Many people enjoyed the products of Todd's baking talents. He enjoyed sharing his cheesecakes, pastries and many other goodies with family and friends and on occasion local nursing home staff. In Todd's spare time he was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors and anyone who asked for his help. He was happy to be of assistance and did so with a smile. He could always be found with his constant companion, his beloved dog "Demo."
