Laura-Lee Buffoni Obituary
Laura-Lee "Laurie" Buffoni

1960-2013 STOCKBRIDGE Laura-Lee Selva Buffoni known by all as Laurie, 52, of Mohawk Lake Road in Stockbridge passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 18, 2013 while vacationing with her daughter in Jamaica.

Born September 28, 1960 in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Joan Eigner Selva. She was a graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School, class of 1978, and in 1980 she graduated from Becker Junior College in Worcester, Mass.

Children were Laurie's passion. For the past 20 years she worked for the Berkshires Hills Regional School District; the first 15 years she worked as a paraprofessional in the Special Needs Department and for the past five years she worked as a secretary at Monument Valley Regional Middle School. She truly loved her job and because of that she was able to touch many lives, be it on a one on one basis through her work as a paraprofessional or in the office of the middle school she was always available for the students.

Laurie was also a dedicated wife and mother. Even after spending the day surrounded by children at school her door was always open and she welcomed all who entered.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Mark Buffoni. The couple was married September 9, 1995 at the First Congregational Church in West Stockbridge. She also leaves her daughter Meaghan Selva and her fiance Peter Carlotto, her son Dylan Buffoni and her brother David Selva and his wife Karen all of Stockbridge, Mass.
