1952-2013 NORTH ADAMS Mr. Kenneth Arthur Andrews, 60 of 30 Whitman St. North Adams, died Tuesday February 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born in Adams, on December 1, 1952, son of Kenneth E. and Christine (Alderman) Andrews. He attended Adams schools and graduated from Adams High School with the class of 1970.
Kenneth worked at Williams College for over thirty years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Kenneth enjoyed playing the guitar and played in several area bands. He also enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, and hiking. He loved animals.
Survivors include his wife, the former Barbara Jean Bliss, whom he married on August 1, 1981.
Two daughters, Julieann Sincavage and her husband, Tom of Canajoharie, N.Y., and Kerri Christine Andrews of North Adams. One son, Scott K. Andrews of North Adams. Three grandchildren, Ricky, Madeleine, and Gavin
He also leaves two sisters, Kenna Hoellerich and her husband, Roger of Savoy and Kay Sherman of Williamstown; and two brothers- Bruce Andrews and his wife, Rosemary of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; and Graham Andrews and his wife, Patricia of West Bloomfield, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Kenneth Andrews will be Saturday March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in North Adams. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery at a later date.
Calling hours at the church are Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to VH1 Save the Music in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUENRALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
