1945-2013 CHESAPEAKE Kathleen Rachel Luczynski Sudduth of Chesapeake, Va., died on February 23, 2013, at Chesapeake General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in North Adams, on June 15, 1945, daughter of Raymond and Helena (Bourell) Luczynski. She attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1963. She married her husband, Gail R. Sudduth on Dec. 3, 1966 and settled in Chesapeake, Va.
Kathl worked at Hill's Home for Adults as an administrator for the last twenty years. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #795. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Bevins; her son, Gerald Sudduth; her beloved grandchildren, Eddie, Amanda, Nikki, Gerald and Jerianna, and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Alexis. She is also survived by six sisters, Agnes Dickinson, Florence Bourdon, Shirley Lescarbeau, Helena Lescarbeau, Rose Goddard and Susan Jusino, all of North Adams, and three brothers, Raymond Luczynski of Chesapeake, Va., Stanley Luczynski of Jacksonville, Fla., and John Luczynski of Williamstown.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gail, and her sister, Virginia Bostwick.
Per her request, there were no calling hours. The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
