Rita T. Rowley
1928 - 2013 PITTSFIELD Rita T. Rowley, 84, died Monday at Hillcrest Commons.
She was born in North Adams to Armand and Edith (Labombard) Boucher and attended local area schools.
She was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Church and fully embraced her faith.
She was married to James Rowley in 1954 and they spent 57 years together until his death on Sept. 9, 2011.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Patricia Faber of Pittsfield; her son, Michael Rowley, and his wife, Gaye, of Reno, Nev. She will be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Kellen Faber and his wife, Andrea, of Erie, Pa., Garret and David Faber of Pittsfield and Jordan Rowley of Reno, Nev. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette Heideman of Clarksburg.
Rita was predeceased by her five brothers and one sister, and a brother-in-law Adolph Heideman.
FUNERAL NOTICE: There are no calling hours. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Peter Naranjo on Friday March 22, 2013, at Sacred Heart Church in Pittsfield. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Please visit
