Frank A. Peplowski

1927-2013 Mr. Frank A. Peplowski, 86 of 75 Foote Ave. died Friday evening at the Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on May 3, 1927 he was the son of the late Frank and Helen Komuniecki Peplowski.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield and a 1945 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He also Studied for two years at Lowell Tech for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He was employed as a Civil Engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts retiring in 1989 after forty years of service.

Frank was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He was an avid golfer and loved all sports. Mr. Peplowski had been a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

He leaves his wife the former JoAnne C. Skowron whom he married Sept. 7, 1957. Four sons Frank A. Peplowski Jr. of Winston Salem, N.C., Joseph C. Peplowski of Winchester, Mass., Steven E. Peplowski of Pittsfield and Matthew M. Peplowski of Lunenburg, Mass., Three sisters Adele Kinnifick of Pittsfield, Janet Cantarella of Pittsfield and Joan Ranti of Hinsdale, MA.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to his eleven grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Mr. Frank A. Peplowski died Friday June 28, 2013.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July 2 at 12:30PM in Sacred Heart Church celebrated by Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery.
