1935-2013 Anne Keller, 78, of 165 Captain's Row, Chelsea, MA, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. She was born in Canton, Ohio on June 6, 1935, the only child of Professor Charles R. Keller and Helen Ramsayer Keller. Shortly after her birth, she moved with her parents to Williamstown, MA when her father was appointed professor of American history at Williams College. Ms. Keller graduated from Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH where she majored in music. Shortly after graduation she moved to Boston, MA where she spent her entire adult life. She obtained a masters degree in music theory from the New England Conservatory of Music .Ms. Keller worked as an assistant to several different physicians at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, retiring from the hospital in 1997. Throughout her life, Ms. Keller maintained an avid interest in the arts. For years, she held season tickets to the Boston Symphony and was a long time visitor, supporter and volunteer at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. For many years, until her health began to fail, Anne returned to Williamstown during the summer to visit the Clark Art Institute and to attend concerts at Tanglewood and plays at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home of No. Adams, MA. A private burial service will take place at the Williams College Cemetery.
